qBittorrent- A Free Software Alternative to uTorrent

Based on Qt and Libtorrent- rasterbar, qBittorrent is a Free Software alternative to the popular uTorrent client. It's cross platform and provides the same features everywhere.

qBittorent has among others the following features
Remote web access
Advanced RSS Support
Multilingual with over 25 languages currently supported
Torrent creation tool
Bandwidth scheduler
Highly polished uTorrent-like UI
UPnP / NAT-PMP port forwarding support and so on


The qBittorrent and Libtorrent-rasterbar source codes are available on Sourceforge for download. For Ubuntu users, you can install qBittorent by (stable version) adding the following PPA via
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:hydr0g3n/ppa
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install qbittorrent


Respective packages are also available for Fedora, ArchLinux, Debian, Mandriva, Slackware, Pardus and more on the download page.
